At 17 I lived in Israel for a year and attended the Betzalel School of Art & Design. I spent time with Yona Mach, an Israeli artist, as my mentor. At the end of the year I spent a month in Ein Hod, an art colony outside of Haifa. I returned to NYC and went to The Art Students League, The New School, Hunter College and Cooper Union. Later I flew to Rome and went by land to India and Sri Lanka or a year. Living in Vermont, I taught myself jewelry design and etching. Living in Boulder, Colorado I raised my family and I now reside in Crestone.
