Lori Nagel (aka Lori Sunflower) has a blast taking photos of all different things, although portraits are her favorite! Everyone is beautiful, and that natural beauty is best captured when people are acting and feeling naturally. Lori often gets told she has a rare gift of making even the most camera-shy people feel comfortable in front of her lens.

Lori's gratitude runs deep, as she left behind over a decade in the IBM corporate world in 2008 to follow her dreams of living a more creative life. Photography and Graphic/Web Design have given her that outlet, along with flying her drone to capture footage from the sky, and putting together videos for her clients. Now she spends her time doing what she loves in one of the most beautiful places in the world: Crestone, Colorado.

In addition to people and events, Lori also shoots real estate, artwork, scenics and wildlife, with a vast selection of Fine Art Photography for sale. She has also been the Staff Photographer & a Photojournalist for the Crestone Eagle newspaper since 2012,  and has had a monthly column in the Eagle called, "Out & About with Lori Sunflower" since 2016, in which she photographs and interviews 5-10 people about a different topic each month.
