Art invites both artist and viewer to look more deeply into things. As a painter, I have found faces and flowers endlessly fascinating. On a large canvas, I can move freely as I express the particular rhythm of a flower. Faces require a more intense focus as I struggle to achieve a likeness of my subject. Both bring my world alive.
