"If I knew what the picture was going to be like, I wouldn’t make it." —Cindy Sherman
My childhood was spent traveling and living in many countries. I loved it and continued to travel as an adult. Now I am exploring the country of my birth, America.
I love to explore and take photographs, which later become the art of the adventure. I start diligently with the photo, then shortly set the image aside and create from emotions.
I love working in many different mediums. I am currently working in Silk painting, which I learned working with Carolita Cantrell while living on a small island in the West Indies. I also was re-introduced to Acrylic painting in Crestone CO with Noemi Kosmowski when I was at a loss for an artistic path. I change mediums often as my mind is always searching for ideas and challenges. I have done: stone sculpture, ceramics, photography, bronze casting, weaving, yarn spinning and glass blowing. I want my art to bring joy to the viewers; joy of wonder and adventure.
